If you've been watching the news, you're probably aware that several hurricanes are churning in the Atlantic. Only once in my 20 years of teaching has a hurricane interrupted my classes, but that one interruption (back in 1999, when most of you were tykes) was a doozy. While AASU has implemented better preparation policies since then, I have my own: If Chatham Emergency Management Authority calls for a voluntary evacuation, I'm gone. Just sayin'. I'll keep you posted via e-mail and the blog (assuming we have electricity). If a hurricane threatens Savannah, stay abreast of the news, and check the blog regularly.
Thanks,
Dr. Remler
